German language courses during vacation
February 13 – April 5, 2013
Course content
- Interactive instruction
- Basic German grammar (review and deepening of understanding)
- Speaking, reading, writing
- Important vocabulary for studies
- Important vocabulary for everyday life
- Lots of practical exercises
Dependent upon group interest:
- Conversation: Discussion and debate over cultural, scientific and political topics
- Reading newspaper articles, as well as literary and scientific texts
- Writing official letters/e-mails, lectures
- Summarization of texts, such as formulation of critiques and arguments
- Important vocabulary for daily life and for studies, lots of practical exercises
Participants
The course is appropriate for those with beginner and middle language skills, and is intended for:
- Students
- Graduate students
- Guest scientists
Participants in course: maximum 15, minimum 11 participants per course
Dates
- 2 x per week, 7 weeks (total: 42 hours)
- February 13 – April 5, 2013
- From 18:00 – 20:30

ECTS points
2 ECTS points may be awarded for participants who attend class regularly and actively participate.
Course fee
- Total cost for the course: Euro 120.00
- Please pay the tuition in advance but latest after the second lesson.
