German Language Course (All Levels)

Course Outline
- 2 x per week, 13 weeks (total: 52 hours a 45 minutes)
- Monday / Wednesday or Tuesday / Thursday
- 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm or 7:45 pm to 9:15 pm
- December 24, 2026 to January 6, 2027 are Christmas Holidays for the German courses

Costs
- Course fee: 220,00 € (Information about grants and subsidies)
- Participants who have already completed an IUCM course receive a 10% discount.

Participants
- To enable efficient learning, group sizes are limited. Each course has around 18 participants and a minimum of 12 participants.
Certificate Requirements
Requirements for earning a certificate with grade and 6 ECTS credit points are:
- Regular active participation in course instruction (maximum absence is 8 teaching units at 45 minutes)
- Regular completion of homework assignments
- 1 short presentation
- 1 listening comprehension/ dictation
- Passing course exam
Those who do not pass the exam and/or are absent for up to 12 teaching units at 45 minutes may still obtain a certificate of attendance without ECTS credit points and without grade (syllabus).
Application / Placement Procedure
- The online registration opens mid-September.
- Registration deadline is October 11th, 23:59 p.m. CEST.
- Registration after the registration deadline is not possible.
